Know any children ages 8 - 18 that like to skate or just want to try a new sport? Join our Riptide Rollers and make their wildest dreams come true. The Riptide Rollers are Charleston's gender inclusive roller derby league for juniors. Next year we will be scrimmaging with surrounding teams as well as playing within our league as numbers continue to increase.
Join us every Monday for practice from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. We turn no child away. We teach all how to skate, stop and safely fall. And eventually the game. Our current team will scrimmage each other to let the children see what to expect. If you have your own protective gear, that’s ideal. A helmet, knee and elbow pads, wrist guards and a $1 mouthguard from Walmart.
Registration is $50 and monthly dues are $50.
